Inland sea ice
« on: Feb 04, 2020, 06:26 AM »
Wondering if anyone can report on ice conditions north of sandbar?  I saw a truck yesterday in the shallows on the south side yesterday and someone pretty far out at cow banks.   I haven't been up much this year and not sure when it even locked up? Thanks for any info.

I fished the cowbanks Saturday and Van Everest Sunday.  Good perch at both spots if you don't mind sorting through the little ones.  Careful, there are dangerous pressure cracks at both locations, especially Van Everest(Georgia Shore) had one that circled the access and was 4-5 feet wide with thin ice in between.  These will be hard to see and cross with the snow that we're supposed to get.  I heard of more than one person that broke though Sunday.
