Moving to NEPA

Hi all, i'm moving to northern Pike County and I love to ice fish. I will have access to a small private lake but Lake Wallenpaupack intrigues me the most. I'm looking for access tips etc... can't wait for ice season.

From people I know who fish it regularly one of the biggest things you need for fishing the Pack is a good set of patients.  Some days can be good while others you'll think you're on the dead sea.  There's a bunch of places you can access it from but I don't know all of them off the top of my head or how to navigate you to them.

Thanks for the reply Chris338378, not looking for honey holes or anything just easy public access points. I don't mind chasing hard to find fish.

Hey Wolfpack,
Welcome to NEPA! I’ve fished out of Sterling, Ironwood, Wilsonville and Mangan’s Cove. Usually catch more fish at other lakes, but the lure is the CHANCE at catching something BIG! 

If you’re interested, I’ll text you when we go this season. We could meet up at the launch. I usually go with a buddy or 2 when I fish The Pack.
