alburg passage

hey all I am planning of fishing the passage in alburg, this coming weekend.  can you guys fill me in on whats in that area for fish besides pike, thanks was hopping for walleyes and mayb a trout
it'll be first time fishing that area so I'm unclear as far the bite there, so any info would be a great help Thank you

If you are fishing tip ups you can expect pike, bass and pickerel. In addition if your bait is small there will be some perch. Hoping for a walleye or trout is a long shot IMO. A bit of advice...when the tip ups are all set, start to jig for gills, sunnies and crappie. Loads of them there.
