Headed to Maine in March
« on: Jan 27, 2019, 10:01 AM »
My son has moved to Oxford area from WI... coming to visit March 15 to 20th. Wondering about normal ice conditions for that time? Also is there a good yellow perch fishery near that area? Maybe just some general info.  ;D
Thanks JR

March is my favorite month to ice fish here.  In terms of panfish, it's a great time.  Lots of yellow perch for sure.  Many 8-10" fish..bigger than that is hard to come by consistently.
