Heading to do a little fishing on hardwater...my friend has been on for 2 weeks talked to him over 10 ins on some of the lakes..50 buck for NY TAG will use it for bass this spring ..and Kings and steelhead in the fall...better the what you get in PA....

After a 61/2 hr drive this what I saw on one of the lakes I passed.....Sunday low will be 7

Fun day on the ice today. Fished Young’s. Lake today gills. And Perch....we had 9 ins of ice on lake tight to shore easy walk no snow.....

Good for you, I'm Jealous. Been doing some open water fishing and catching lots of small perch and crappies. At least it is something. Several of us talking about a trip soon is ice doesn't come soon.

Fished today on caroga lake for smelt..was a fun day could not believe of the size of some of them 7 ins...Vex was lite up like a Christmas Tree. When a school came by.. had 12 ins of clear ice ...

Thanks for sharing your pictures . The Adirondacks is a beautiful outdoor paradise ANY time of the year . My buddies father had a big camp up on Long Lake . I would have lived there if offered . Well , except when the biting Black Flies are around . If I remember correctly they are around in the month of June ?

Lets hope its looking good. Ya should have brought a chunk of that ice back with ya to get thins started good luck and be safe
