Good day sir, I'm from Troy just south of you (2) hours +/- , not much ice locally too darn warm , just wanting to know how the ice is on Schroon and Brant  any info will be appreciated . I'm tired of the HONEY DO list and I need to get out . Thanks  maint 4 :tipup:

I’m from the Niskayuna ny. Schroon is about 1.25 hours from me. Lake ice was nice on the north end. Solid 8 inches to the the narrows .  Parking is hard need to get to the lake at like 6 am lol. He sound end of the lake is open water
