VT Fishing - great day!

Went to Shelburne Pond and iced over 2 dozen pike (my personal best for pike #'s in one day) - for real. Red hot action. No real size (mostly 2-4 lbs) One was 5.1 lbs. Caught a mess of perch as well. Had 4 flags go up at once - a first for me. Had triple flags 4 times! Pictures to follow when I get back to mass. Heading to a small pond with trophy smallies tomorrow - only 39 acres - but loaded with perch and smallmouth - no other species. I've never caught a smally throught the ice - we'll see.... Time to hit the hay...

Oh yeah, ice was a solid 8-10inches of lake ice - making lots of noises and some good cracking sounds. But definitely safe.
