I've seen people catch trout on it, pink is a pretty good color.

Have had success with pink power bait for trout. Better with Putzkies fire balls.

I would try multiple depths in the water column until you find where they are swimming

In this neck of the woods normally fish on the bottom. The stock trout get fed pellets that sink to the bottom of the rearing ponds so they are used to picking food up off the bottom.

My mom absolutely loves the pink sparkle version of this stuff.  It floats, so keep that in mind when rigging.  I set her up with a 1/8oz egg sinker on the pole side of the swivel, about 12" from the hook (salmon egg hook).  I rigged that up for her about two years ago, and she hasn't changed a thing.  Cast out, let the pole set, watch the slack line, and wait for it to start moving.

The next time you think you know it all, try telling someone else's dog what to do.

I have caught alot of stock trout on Power bait.         Sometimes the trout will have a preference for a certain color and will not bite any other ???

hungry fish will eat anything.  ;)

I've caught fish on the gulp stuff.  Typical curly tails.  The worms.  The little trout worms.  The pulse worms.

We've got them on all the colors they have but chartreuse is #1 for us with peach #2 for trout.

Stocked trout bight power bait because it it flavored like feed pellets. After a couple week of stocking, trout will have acquired the taste of more natural forage, giving the fisherman a few more choices.Start fishing power bait closer to the bottom, working up the water column ,12”-18” will usually put you in the strike zone.

Stocked trout love it especially during winter.  I do well with brighter colors.  Fish it close to the bottom.

Chartreuse PB works well or pink... stuff floats...bring a rag to wipe your fingers, stuff gets all over your equipment and cloths if you don’t

Be prepared for a lot of deep hooked fish, they swallow it most of the time. Since there no ice and my beagle had to be put down(no bunnies hunting) I've been splitting time between filling my last doe tag in flintlock season in Pa. and filling a buck tag in Ohio and fishing a local trout lake. They stocked some pretty nice Brooke trout 12" -17" and some breeder bows. I've been killing them with Berkeley trout worms and BC  baits pick worm or Terry Bugs. 4'-5' under a jigging bobber. I smoked 14 of biggest ones, they turn out spectacular and I'm not found of trout.

Powerbait makes little ice fishing plastic tails now. They are the bomb!
