Manistique Lake...Curtis Area anyone help with information about this area? I am wanting to head up that way Sunday night for the week.

First things, first.  It's in the UP, not Michigan Lower.  Don't get lost.  (LOL).   Great place, though. I was there last month.  Caught lots of small Perch.  All the bait shops told to fish off from Burnt Island.  We did, and caught lots of Dink Perch.  Heard about big ones being there.  Where you staying?  I highly recommend Pine Bluff Resort.  Very nice.  We had lots of snow, so travel by Quad was tough.  No idea about current conditions.  Nice lake.

You got me, I posted in the wrong area. Looks like we will leave Sunday afternoon, stay in St. Helen at the cabin over night and check Higgins and St. Helen lake, than head up that way...OH yes we will go NORTH to the UP. Thanks for the correction....
