On the board ( morning 2 )

Found some safe ice the earliest  to date for me. Off to a good start on some freshly stocked Brook trout. 1 of them that I caught was a Brood stock that was thick and colorful. Caught 5 and 2 pickerel all are still swimming! My friend and his son caught a few also.













Went out this am again. This time my co - worker came for his first time ice fishing . We caught 3 Brook trout, we kept 1 each for the frying pan. He enjoyed the whole experience. He even sent me a pic of his lunch.

Nice to see some more fish getting posted. Congrats on getting out and on some fish. Gotta love seeing that first flag go up for the season. I hope to get out tomorrow, seeing it’s a Monday I hope it won’t be too crowded out there lol. Actually a bit torn between going after trout or playing panfish/bass with the electronics.
