NOW its time to swap the gear.

Sorta.... opening day shotgun season yesterday and tagged a doe and buck. Going to pick up 1 extra tag for next saturday and then I am done for good. The ice gear will be dusted off and ready to use. I know many of you have already hit the hardwater so congrats on an early outing. I got the meat I need for the next 12 months. Let it begin!

Thanks everyone. Caught a few good cramps yesterday from dragging both of those deer. Of course they were all up hill. I  Feel better this morning thats for sure.I bought an additional tag and I am heading out with my father in a few. Cant think of a better way to celebrate my bday.

I would be up for some ice fishing this upcoming sunday. If anyone has some Intel I would be down for some traveling if under 2 hours away for a full day of fishing.

Jon, i would absolutely be down for  kids trip.

Hey hold on there Mike, we have one day of bird slaying to do on Sunday. It's the chukar shoot and Jimmy is making sausage gravy and biscuits. Maybe just maybe the club pond will be fishable.

Thank you Musky Man.

Its been a good season. The ice is where I get to share my good fortunes and its with friends, family, and other ice fisherman in the area. If someone is around and we have, I offer it. The only got ya is we do not always cook if the fishing is fast and hot. Even then, I let people take it home for dinner.
