New guy - new shack. Ice can’t get here soon enough

Hello folks, I’m new to the site and wanted to say hello and get used to things here.  I do poke around in the site from time to time and am trying to get more familiar. 

Just completed my first hard side and ready for luxury in the ice.  Bring the cold.

Nice looking shack too. I too can't wait for the hardwater to form.  And the deer rut hasnt even kicked in haha.

It doesn't sound that appealing to most people I talk to, but going out onto a frozen lake and staring into a hole for the day is my favorite thing to do.

I’m chasing anything that bites.  I built the shack light and fast as a run and gun type to get me around easy.  I’ll attach some interior pics - it does have a large panel that removes for spearing pike, but ever since I got a conversion kit for my lowrance HDS5, I cant seem to get enough of jigging for walleyeband perch.

I hadn’t either, just makes it easier to get out with my son (he gets cold easy).  The shack slides up onto the trailer next to the quad (I built it 4 x6 just for that reason).  It’s light enough that he and I can pick it up if necessary.  It has doors on either side so we don’t have to climb over each other to get in and out.  I’m excited to get out with it.

I have a 7x3 light hut. Two can fish but perfect for one. Easily tow it around and load. Nicely built hut.
