Ted's Bait and Tackle on Rt 20A North end of lake has bait.  As for parking, ask at the bait shop when you are there.

There is parking at Long Point park.  It is in the very middle of the lake.  Line the drop with tip ups on the North side of the point.  I used to like the 15-20' range.  I took my biggest northern ever there my very first trip to Conesus 41 1/4".   Good luck!

There is parking there for the canoe launch but I'm not sure they plow it this time of year.  That area is moving water on the outlet and generally open water or unsafe ice at best. If Vitale is full, you can drop your gear and there is another public lot in walking distance directly across the outlet from Ted's. Check with Ted's for additional overflow parking at private business lots for the derbies.     585-429-0587

Would taking the kids down to conesus and parking at the park by Ted's be advisable this time of year? Never been down in the winter it's quite a haul.

I ended up parking at vitale marched out to ten ft. Got my bait at Ted's. The bluegill bite was on fire I brought home a limit and let at least that many go. The bigger ones came on plastics about 4ft  down in 10ft.thanx for all the advice I'll be back  at it Sunday with my 7 year old.  The ice was about a ft and clear.

If you dropped your gear off at vitale park 1st then went and parked and walked back it would work but its to far to drag your gear from in my opinion. its gonna be packed next weekend thats for sure, should be a great time though I cant wait!!
Just roll me up and smoke me when I die
