Where to catch a bass at morain
« on: Feb 03, 2018, 07:38 PM »
My dad and I are going out tomorrow, he is getting older, I would love for him to catch a nice bass. Any suggestions on which part of the lake to try? I was thinking deep water like the cabins but maybe someone here has experience with this time of year and conditions and would help us catch one. We are shiner on tip up kind of guys.

Thanks in advance for any help.

GFB - If you are looking for an easy walk, McDaniels isn't a bad option. On Wednesday, we ended up out to the left of the launch. Just passed where the tree fell in the lake ( you can't miss the tree). I picked up a couple LMB in 15-17 fow.

Park at the upper 528 launch and try to locate a weed edge in the muddy creek finger. Bass cruise those edges and the more defined edge the better
