Any report on how the ice did at lake of the woods? Was on it last weekend it was almost 8" of solid black ice

I'm trying to decide where to go this afternoon/evening. Was the bite any good when you were there? I've heard the ice is good but haven't heard if the bite is.

I was there last sunday and only cane home with one 20 1/2" eye, probably a 6" and two 10 1/2" perch. Had a couple on but lost them.
