Today, I stop by check out see how ice in the shape. Its look great. I didnt check how its thick. Its by the dam (the deepest of the lake)

This weekend with a lot of rain on sat and high temperatures will make the ice unsafe in NW RI. But next weekend after xmas it's hammer time in NW RI.

Im thinking about Carbuncle in Western Coventry for Saturday AM. Thats a trout factory. We checked keech last week. Walked out on some super shakey. It was not safe. FF

Anyone else thinking about hitting the ice tomorrow am before the rain gets bad? Woke up a little late today but gives me time to get everything ready for the winter. Going to check out some spots soon and see if it'll be worth going in the rain early tomorrow. I'll report what I find. Really chomping at the bit already
