Shenango Resevoir

I took the auger to Shenango near the Beach vacinity, to drill a few holes to check the ice thickness. Not good yet people. Only about 2.25 inches thick. Dissapointing, but better safe than sorry.

Spud at celery farm 1/2” at best, golden run 2.5 to 3 but that was 10 ft out and farther one hit and spud went through... Dave and I did goof around and fished 3’ of water off the ramp just to say we went fishing

As you can see Dave’s one foot on the ice cuts down his weight by 1/3...Dave learned that in division

walking on bad ice is just like walking on csm`s grass...." grass grows by the inch and dies by the foot."
