Where will the weigh stations be for the statewide derby.  I know several people who plan to fish lakes up north, and a weigh station in the greenville or bangor area would work out nicely.

The only problem with a weight station up north is that the closing ceremony might not be until 10:00 sunday night.

This is my 1st post and I live at the South end of Sebago (pumping station area) and it is skimmed over further out this morning than any other day this year.  There were a few other times when it started to freeze however, the wind soon took care of any further freezing.  Keep the faith for those who want to fish the tourney especially those with "home court advantage".

Welcome to the shanty salmon44
I checked it out today...and yes it is setting up.
I checked out a few other spots and it was all open water..
But its a start and it may set up real nice over the next few nights with the temps going down...
Wind would kill it though.

Ahhhhh I see now.... well personally I'd like to see it go to all waters because I look at sebago as a little ocean.... no idea where to fish, 5,458 feet or 5,462 feet for the halibut? lol --- on top of that I would rate my togue fishing skills as somewhere between crappy and absolutely lost, but pike and perch sounds like a good challenge... maybe see everyone there!?!

If you can catch a perch, you probably have a shot at some Trout.   They like the same type of food.... :P ;D ;)

Yes I did and it is frozen from the South station launch as far as the eye can see beyond Indian Island. Yes, I know this week's warm-up doesn't help the chances for the tourney however, if it goes state-wide there may still be enough ice on Sebago for us locals to sneek off to.
