North Hero Stony Point Launch ramp
« on: Feb 19, 2017, 07:05 AM »
Hi guys, could anyone confirm if the stony point launch ramp is plowed / accessible up in the park on North Hero. Not sure if the gate is open this time of year, thanks for the help.

There is no gate at the Stoney Point state access. To get there go down Lakeview Drive towards the North Hero state park then take a right hand turn onto north end road east. The driveway is shared with the North Hero water plant. If you are looking to access the lake from the North Hero state park a half mile further north the gate is normally open but I doubt it is plowed.

Thank you for the information Champlain Islander, we will be up there this week and that point looked like a good night bite spot to try for some eyes.

Was told to go up and around over the bridge towards Hogs Island to get the eyes.  Per local source   Good luck!
