2017 Fish Pics

Haven't posted any pics or reports lately. Figured catch up time.

Private pond was okay this year. Fish weren't where we usually would find them. Lots of drilling and searching.
 





Went out East Colorado with my buddy Jeb. We caught bluegills, crappies, and walleyes. Spoons and blades worked best.








Hit a metro pond for perch. They were on fire but no bigguns. I did get a decent bass in the fury of action.






Made a trip north east with my buddy mook. Searched and searched for walleyes but only found pike, perch, and gills.




Fished some local northern lakes and caught walleyes, gills, perch, Crappie, and bass. All kinds of lures worked.
















Took my buddies cubscouts fishing at Vrain. They had a blast. My nephew helped which really made me smile seeing him volunteer his time helping younger kids.  He unhooked fish and baited rods with powerbait and I fixed poles and unwound knots all day. It was a great time. Well I did get to fish for 5 mins and caught 2 trout using s Swedish pimple. Big mistake because they all wanted to use lures after that lol. That lessons coming soon.

Awesome pics, Ducky!  Looks like you've had a great season on the front range and North/Eastern ice.  Nothin better than seeing quality warm water species caught through the ice here in CO and environs.  ABT!   

Great work wth the cub scouts too.  Gotta get the next generation involved in the sport!
