Quick report - Sunday pm

Got out very briefly on winni Sunday afternoon to look for a dusk bite. Pal had fished Saturday and gotten the skunk. Had been in shallow doing surf n turfs. Went out a bit deeper and set traps over about 6 feet of water on a bump. Started getting hit and spits on surf n turfs. 3 flags in pretty short order but they kept dropping it. Drilled some more holes off the bump over a little deeper water. Probably about 20 fow and dropped smelts in about 6 ft down. Started booking up. Salmon but bows too. Buddy kept a 20", beat of day, it was full of pin smelt.

True.Thats funny you say that. One of the bows I got Sunday came on a shiner 2 ft off the bottom in 25 ft of water. Strange?
