2 trip sunday

Started off Sunday morning solo on 1st 2trap trip of the season could only fish till 10:30 because I promised the kids a afternoon trip once it warmed up a little.I was hopeful I could get 1st Bow of the season.went through a jar eggs without a single egg turning up missing had smelt on the slammers.I was discouraged and about to pack it in at 10 when the slammer finally went off,no monster but no skunk and a decent start.got it on the ice snapped a couple pics and we both headed for greener pastures.went home packed the kids and jet sled to the rim and headed for the local 6 trap lake.didnt get back on the ice till 130 but boys got 6 flags had them running lol only landed a couple bows but they were having a blast runing,sliding,wrestling on the glare ice . hopefully next trip with them I can get em to a better Waterbody with bigger fish.

Great stuff! Fun watching the kids horsing around on the ice like that.

Not me, lol. I took it easy on the brews last night. One of my kids has the Flu
