Chains for Polaris Ranger?
« on: Jan 10, 2017, 06:16 PM »
Is there any local companies selling chains for a Ranger? I need them to fit 30x10x14" tires.

Hi Scalloper,
I have the Bobcat version of the Polaris Ranger Brute with PTO.
Boston Bobcat located chains for mine but you have to completely deflate tires to put on and then refill air.
I decided against chains because of inconvenience and besides, I never got stuck and they told me they will do a number on my enclosed trailer floor and garage floor. If you are still interested in chains call Boston Bobcat in North reading Ma.
Hope it helps

Ya that will work. It's always best to deflate the tires when putting on chains. It looks like I will have he day off from scallop fishing so I will give them a call. Thanks again.

Reel Big Reel said to check with Jordan equipment about forklift chains. I think I will call and maybe take right to them to make sure I get what I need. These things are a tank with good set of chains.

these are the best ive used so far, get the diamond pattern as they dont chain slap, these are very agressive chains, only complaint is they dont stay shiny ;D they ship from maine but dont know if they have an actual store

Thanks for that. The only option for my Ranger was standard 4 link V-Bar but that will help. The diamond V-Bar would have been better but hay I now have chains. Or I will have next week. They are located in Oakland ME

Yes. A set for my truck which is a odd size 305/65/18 and the Ranger 30/10/14. He had trouble finding both because they were bigger then standard but I have both coming. $73 for the Ranger and $115 for the truck shipped.

That was the first place I called last week but they did not have a part number for chains to fit my truck.
