Yeah but you gotta get out there early and pound on the jumbos at Log Gulch before the schools get picked over and disperse.

I love Holter, but with the Perch bite on the far end last year there were so many people it wasn't as fun. I think I will be working the lakes in northern Montana a bit more this winter.

Walleye guy please give a report on the ice condition when you get back. I was thinking about trying it sunday but its a long drive if the ice is no good. Good luck
