Myself and a chum were snooping on fish farm shores came across a few fisher people
fishing  using 2 and 3 rods some had a spool of  line  on the ground kind of covered
Some got in a hurry to bring in the extra rods etc. they thought we were the fish police

This happens way to often. Conservation can't be everywhere
I have noticed it alot where the think they will get away with it.
Good job need more people doing this
Too much over fishing
Fishing without license, etc
As well as littering all over the place.

many years ago I was at the fish farm and as always one of the last people out fishing. A small group of Filipino fisherman were out as well, when they decided it was time to pack it in they sneakily went over the ice kicking snow off of several holes that looked like they were recently drilled unused holes and proceeded to pull 4-6 whitefish out of each hole stuffing them into a large Rubbermaid bin. All in all I figure they were about 2-3 times over their limit. I was unable to get their license plate but I was definitely going to report their abuse of their fishing privilege .

Hijack....

Is it necessary to say they were Filipino?  What difference does it make?  Your story would have been just as relevant without that bit of information.

PS - I hate that my first post on this forum had to be like this.

Wow... no not necessary. For any person experienced in the area and seeing the worst offenders for over fishing summer or winter they are of that culture. I did not state it to offend any person.

For the record...to CO'S it does matter.
