I would suggest The great sagandaga Lake its about three hrs, next would be the best choice in Oneida lake,if you can not catch one there just sell your gear.this is all subject to safe ice and knowing were your going, being with someone who knows the lake will help greatly. your not off topic at all. the first word on the post is Walleye

Just heard the latest from food n fuel, they are going to make the decision on this Monday, just got the new ice ducer for my Helix 7 si/gps can not wait to use it

This year's January 28th Great Sacandaga Lake Walleye Challenge has been canceled according to event official Beaver Ross.  Lake conditions have been deemed unsuitable.

In two 2days of fishing only two walleyes came to the tip ups,20+ smallies Jigging as well as tip ups.windy snowing both days, 12+"of ice, many quads as well as snowmobles, Party was great as well as fishing with good friends

Sounds like it was a good trip then Octane! I was really hoping we could all get out on Batterson for a night fish this year but CT weather stinks! Oh well. What can you do.
