New to me auger!

My cousin aquired some used ice fishing gear and gave it to me. Included was an older KJ Mora hand auger. Have been searching for an early season auger!

Nice work!  At some point you could add the Clam drill kit to that auger and you will have a great power auger!

Its an older one so it does not have the through bolt, and the handle is on there pretty rugged. Going to get the handle off to see how its threaded on and go from there.

Adam? There is a guy on Ebay that makes adapters for the stud on your auger. That thread is metric and not a common size I checked with Lane/Hacket and they didn't even have a tap that size iirc it's 15 X 1.5. I think the the guys name on Ebay was six elk. If you are going to buy a set of blades shop Ebay for the old ones made in Sweden the new ons are chinese junk.

Got a response in the equiptment section saying to get the ice master drill adapter. Curious if those threads will line up? Waiting for anresponse over there. Didnt find much on ebay.

Message him he will make what you want I had him do one for me 15X1.5 Metric - 1/2"X 20 SAE for an old Mora 8" to a Tanaka powerhead 9" long and out of Hex stock so I could put a wrench on it IIRC it was a little over $30.00 including shipping. He has changed his name on Ebay.

I messaged another guy on ebay that does simmilar ones. I'll wait to hear what he has to say. Im looking to go around a foot or so long where those augers are so short.
