Thinking about fishing the Moore Rez in Concord Vt this upcoming Saturday (4/5). Anyone know how the conditions are?

Drove by it today at the Littleton end, looks pretty punky and is under 4" water right now. Might get better after the cold weather the end of this week.

Thanks. Some nice cold weather coming in so that should help. I might fish up by the boat ramp in Concord. Never fished there before but it looks like a good spot.

You must mean the one off walker pit rd. There are usualy good perch up there, and allways a chance for pike. With the water levels down you might find it hard to find much water there until you get on the main river channel. Just be carefull up there the main channel has a lot of current. If you mean the one off cozy nook rd by the cemetery be very carefull there is a lot  of current where carr brook comes in.

The water went up 8 feet from the weekend before and the edges were iffy. You had to find a spot that was safe to get across,a snowmobile got submerged Sat night and wasn't retrieved until Sun am.

Yep, the young guy is a customer of mine -- told me the story last evening -- he was pretty fortunate there were some good folks nearby to help get him out, stripped of his wet clothes and into a warm truck...!

Guessing the conditions are looking at little better today with some time for the run off to slow down. Anyone seen the ice today?

This time of year anything could happen to the edges overnight. It all depends on whether they are letting water out or holding it back. It's only 2 degrees so the temps are good for the ice but the edges will be the issue.
