I seen two fisherman on neatahwanta  yesterday they  were  close  then moved  out mid lake ,I'm not sure about ice or anything if I get time i'll go punch a few holes today

I still do ....Oneida lake  has had a  blue alge bloom along  with some  of the  finger lakes  ...I  kayak  fish   even jet ski  in it  .... during testing  the  only thing  found  was a  high level of alge and  biological materials  decaying  the  clean up  has  begin and  really a lot of people are  back enjoying that lake

And dogs, Trapper. I still have yet to fish it, see guys way out there all the time, just haven't given it a shot yet. Wouldn't mind sometime though

bass fishing declined  a lot but I think it was fromover harvest ,it'll come back I got a lot of small ones

I live in the area near the lk and it has been locked up for a couple wks now. Usually fish it a couple times a yr. I always catch crappie but they are mostly undersized and very picky. Can be challenging at times but fun and worth the trip. Spring bobbers and noodle rods surely help

I do want to warn anyone that doesn't know the lake  the ice  near the pier  at the parking spot on rt 3  is  very unsafe bubblers are set along that pier and  eats that whole shoreline your better off going on down by the old beach area .....

People fish it and do well but as I understand it, you can't eat the fish... I don't waste time fishing for something I can't eat personally. That's why I don't salmon fish.  ;D ;D
