.its funny how some people love those low pressure days with cloud cover or snow..i like sunny high pressure days...Saturday could be good
That is interesting, I think our experiences are different with cloud cover vs sunny, might be because of the different waters we are fish (deep vs shallow). Next time I am out on a blue bird day I will try fishing deeper than I normally do...

Many of our lakes are dark but I just feel we are more active when it's sunny..haha..I would say the majority of our banner fishing days were sunny..I don't write anything down anymore for conditions but maybe it's closer than I think
when chuck norris played golf for money, chuck marked down a hole in zero every time, the golf pro said, "chuck: you can't score zero on a hole." Chuck norris turned towards the man and said, "I'm chuck norris, the man proceeded to pour gas over his body and set himself on fire because that would be less painful than getting roundhouse kicked by chuck norris....chuck norris roundhouse kicked him in the face anyways

Jibbs you stated you like to fish drawdown lakes.Curious as to why?I have a couple of reasons i could think of but they're just uneducated guesses. Also do you hole hop your traps or just let them sit?

I've fished a few times for bass (tip-up+shiner). Typically just off of the weed line has worked the best for bass. However, jigging just on the weed line or over the weeds has produced for some decent picks.

In my opinion draw down lakes takes away that shallow bite and will group up the bass a bit more and make it easier to find them..might not be the case but seems like it works for us...as for hole hopping or letting them soak?...we are all about laying back and letting the bait do its work...we will spread out in a big area and then as the day goes along either move or drop more traps into the areas that are producing the most bass...the key it too check those traps so that they have bait...however, like I mentioned before...we have been to these lakes forever so the spreads always stay the same...good luck..nice talking bass fishing..doesn't happen to often on this site..
