Any updates on overall ice thickness? Going to make a trip after work tomorrow afternoon...will report back if no one beats me to it.

6-8" on the east end.  Fishing was pretty slow with poor size compared to previous years for me.

Thanks for the report. I'm going some place tomorrow but not sure where. Was thinking HG (90 miles) or Clear Lake (60 miles). It will be my first time out this year, looking forward to it.

As long as you stay away from the tubes by the road (east end) the ice should be ok on this lake.  Have heard several reports and have drilled good ice in various places!

Ice was 6 to 8". Took 1 1/2 hours to find active fish, but then the bite was good: Bluegill (7 to just over 9 1/2"), Crappie (7 to 12"), and one 14" bass. Caught close to 25 fish in an hour (4:30 to 5:30), and thinking if I would have been on them a little sooner I would have caught more.
