Lac La Belle

Is this lake worth ice fishing?  I am coming up to do some skiing and was thinking about hitting this up if there is a winter walleye or crappie bite.

I have not been up there in about a week and the public access does not get plowed.[lots of snow this week,,5-8'' tomorrow]
its a good walleye lake and any thing else that wanders in from the big lake threw the ship canal.

Thanks for the reply!  I would be staying right on the lake but I wouldn't have a snowmobile or anything so I wouldn't be venturing to far from my cabin.  I will remember to bring the snow shoes.

I'm going to try fishing it this season sometime.  Some big eyes come out of there in the summer. I don't think too many people fish it through the ice.

there was 6'' at the axcess and the ship canal was open water.

we got a but load of snow the last few days here on the ridge [24''+]

I will be staying up in the cove on the northern shore so hopefully I wont have to worry but I will becareful.
