seen in the 2016 Nebraska fishing guide that there is supposedly perch in east Hyannis lake , was wondering if anyone has ever tried it ice fishing? have been by there many times and have never seen anyone on it, though in the summer it's always has pelicans on it, for what that matters.

I have been by that lake numerous time and the only people that I have ever seen on it were a couple of muskrat trappers a few years ago. It was loaded with rat houses at the time and the rumor was that the government had hired professional trappers to clean some of them out.

I've never fished east Hyannis lake but it sounds like it could be a gold mine of jumbo perch waiting for someone to catch them.  When you fish it let ne know how you did!

We called game and parks about that lake cause we wondered the same thing. They said that there are a few nice fish in there but not many. They say the pelicans have pretty much ate everything they have tried to stock
