That was the lead in to tonight's 11 pm weather outlook. Oh noooo.. Heck we might even get ice in the Southeast, though I would expect the usual wind issue. On the plus side, anything at elevation that survived the rain will build in a hurry. Looking forward to hearing some reports from the North Country.

dropped 25 degrees here like right now wind a howlin and blew snow off ice  the other side of EL nino is increased snowfall which we dont need right now

Forecast calls for 50 degrees on Friday here in southwest PA.  Not looking good for our ice season.

Was at pymatuning this past weekend, Lake was locked up Friday when we got there, however the ice was completely gone on the southern end of the lake by mid day sunday. Shenango was still mostly iced over tho...can't wait to get out there.
