Wasn't able to make it this year but I am curious how the tournament was?  I suspect there were lots of folks...but how about fish?

Over 50 fish were caught out of 500 anglers.  The one that won the tournament was 1.8 lbs slimmer.  I got 1 bite but missed it (could have been the one ).

I've never been, but those tournaments don't have any appeal to me at all.  I see they have good prizes, but from the rules, it sounds like it is entirely luck that determines the winner.

Congratulation to the lady that caught it.  They did have all you can eat cinnamon rolls and all the hot chocolate that you can drink though.

Has any one went fishing in the marina after the tournament? I went today and it was slow. 2 trout 2 small bluegills in 4 hours. Was just wondering if anyone else had any luck.
