Anyone know of any burbot lakes near Kalispell? I haven't really fished that area before. Thanks!

Defining "near" as 1-hour in any direction from Kalispell,  I can't think of any. I'm curious myself now though.

you should call Pete and visit his store, he will give you the latest and greatest reports!  Also check out snappy's sport senter, chancey and the boys will line you out! What species are you after?  I could probably help myself.

Nice!! That sounds like a plan!! Not really after any specific fish just looking for a different lake to fish.

Try Sophie Lake by Koocanusa. It's located about six miles outside Eureka.
When there is ice on the lakes, I never make employee of the month!

midge, the options in the flathead are endless.  we are truly blessed!  just be careful, we have a some snow on the ice and some lakes are just not froze that well.

some of the more common lakes are Rogers (grayling and cuts) the Thompson chain of lakes are great for any species, we have quite a few lakes with world class perch in them, smith lake is close to town.

I you find a specific species let me or pete know an we will direct you in the right direction!
