Replacement Blades for Ion auger

Anyone know if the blades from other augers fit the 8 inch Ion ?  Maybe StrikMaster, or Eskimo blades ?

well at a glance they look like the same as Strike Masters.

I sent an email to the manufacturer asking if the Ion blades and strikemaster mora blades would interchange since they look the same in pictures I saw.  They claim not, that the Ion have a different pitch or blade angle.  I have no idea if this is true but it came from Ion.

I figured they were unique so I bit the bullet and ordered a replacement set during the holiday shopping deals, got a 8" set for $22 shipped

Glen's Army/Navy - my mistake, I paid around $28 for them, I got the 24" extension for $22...The total came to just over $50 and they had a free shipping deal with any combined purchase over $50, so I got the blades and extension for $50 shipped

Looks like they are $34 now, which is pretty standard.

I've seen them for as low as $26 online, it's the shipping cost that always put me off...when I saw the free shipping offer, I snatched a pair.. My originals still cut ice like butter though...
