boysen camping question
« on: Jan 05, 2016, 04:32 PM »
Planning of fishing boysen for a few days and will be be fishing all night.  Is there a place to park without having to pay the camping fee?  Was thinking mid lake either tough cr or maybe the other side at sand mesa.  I have never been there so just trying to avoid any issues.  Will pay the camping fee if I have to.  Thanks for any info.

As soon as you drive into the state park have to pay their fee. If you stay past 10 pm you have to pay the camping fee. I just buy the yearly day pass for 27 dollars and then the camping for 40 and not have to worry about it no matter what state park I go to. Then buy the additional for 7 dollars for the wife's car so I can take that fishing when it is nice out and just bank fishing. But 10 dollars a night but that includes your day pass. Might see you out there this weekend but have to see how all the kids and wife are feeling about going.

Sounds good.  Not sure where we will end up.  Was hoping to fish around sister islands but no sure on the ice.  We will probably start at tough cr and see what happens.  Base camp will be an eskimo 6 man red tent.  I wear an silver/orange striker coat so stop by if you see me.  Thanks for the info.
