First Muskie!!

My buddy and I hit the local fishin hole, and he landed a 29" Muskie on a tip up!  It was his first ever, and the first one I have EVER seen.  We were pretty excited.  Caught 16 perch, and a few of them made it home, but are now gone! ;D

I surf this site multiple times each day.......because of posts like yours.  Thanks much for sharing what I can only dream of......while it is fifty degrees and raining.

And....

Damn nice sized perch fillets in that there fryin pan - well done!

Muskie was released.  Has to be over 36 inches to keep it.  We don't keep anything but perch anyway.  And even then, only what we can eat in one meal.  Sometimes we don't even keep any cause we don't eat a lot of fish.  Lot more fun just catching em! :-)

OH!  And I forgot to tell you guys that I scored a GREAT find on the way home!  I don't have a sled to pull my gear in.  I have a 5 gallon bucket, a LX7, and an auger.  That's all I carry.  But I figured I'd start saving up to get a jet sled.  On the way home, I found one!!!  It isn't a jet sled, but rather a kids snow sled that LOOKS like a small jet sled.  It was on the side of the interstate, so I grabbed it!  It isn't broken or anything!!!  I was so excited!  I love finding free stuff!!!
