Had mine ready the beginning of December, just been waiting for the cold to move in haha. Looks like I should be getting out soon. The rain and warm temps yesterday delayed that I'm sure but Canoe Creek lake did have ice the other day, just wasn't thick enough yet.

I am thinking of going to high point this weekend, since its one of the highest lake it should ice up first. Bit of a drive for me but totally worth it if I get some fishing in. Also Nicklow's is there, so I can buy my pounds of fatheads and shiners to get me through the season. Got the 200 gallon minnow tank set up but no minnows so it will kind of work out I guess.

Ridge runner highpoint should be good by this weekend I walked on somerset lake Saturday only walked out about 30yards by the breast but it was clear and no cracking so I would imagine highpoint would be in better shape

My gear got christened for this season on Saturday.  If I can't get out tomorrow I'll definitely be out this weekend.

Had mine out for awhile haha. Got out on some ice Friday and hooked into some nice perch, a decent bass, and small pickerel. This weekend should officially mark the start of the season! Good luck and be safe!  :icefish:
There's Ice Fishing, then there's ice and fishing.
