with this crazy warm front going on and the ice fishing season looking to be late this year....is anybody still out fishing open water? any luck? looking to go out saturday. (54 degrees) prolly looking for pike and/or bass.

hammered the perch a month ago got over 600 with my dad and brother. probably gonna go out here in the next couple days and try and get them again and maybe some gills
That's a Bluegill, no that's a Sunfish...I've heard it both ways!!

I would definitely be out doing some open water bass/pike/panfish fishing if I didn't have the boat all wrapped up and winterized!  This weather is unreal....

Water temp yesterday was 47 degrees. Last winter fished from boat until about Christmas might make it longer this season.

ended up fishing the hudson river...3 largemouth (2-4lbs.) and my brother in law lost a pike, we saw it.. prolly 24-28"

Call 'er in. It doesn't look like CNY will have safe ice until mid-January at the earliest.
