Can anyone let me know who to contact to fish the lake of the woods? How about Rocky Point Resort (Arnesen's) We are from Pennsylvania and would like to fish The lake of the woods. Any info would be great.

I've fished LOTW quite a bit and can give you my $.02 based on having been going up there over the last 20 years or so.  Send me a PM and I can share what I know.  In a quick summary, there are some options and each one has its pros and cons.

Some places plow their own roads, some haul you out on the ice in a track vehicle.  Some have sleepers on the ice, some have cabins on shore.  Some have an attached restaurant and meal plan, others you are on your own for food.  Some have more of a party atmosphere, some are quieter.  Depending on what sort of experience you are looking for, I can give you my opinion on the options.

I have fished out of Borderview lodge several times. Borderview takes really good care of their customers. First time I went, I caught 3 personal best walleyes each one bigger than the last. The quality service is second to none on the lake. There are many others to choose from that may be cheaper but borderview hooked me that first trip.

Just a heads up its probably going to be a while. Forecasting 30s into Christmas with the last week of December in the teens, then high 20's in early Jan. We will get ice but it will he much later in the year before we see super duties and ice castles on the big lakes.
