Under water camera problems

Anyone ever take apart a camera unit for a underwater camera ? I own a Atlantis unit which has worked fine till this year when I started having camera issues .......picture goes white ? Battery not the issue , and one day I looked and there was condensation inside the Infrared light lens ? I'm thinking that if it is finished then no harm cracking open the unit to see what is gone and if I can repair it ?? Anyone have any knowledge to share ??

I would think that you could buy a replacement camera/cord.  But, it may be a good part of the cost of just buying a whole new unit.
