Well crap, now i feel silly for buying one...http://www.customjigs.com/icefishing/accessories/panfish_toothpick.html
I made this out of a toothbrush,I haven't tried it yet.(Image removed from quote.)
For the big purchase of $3 I think you will be fine.
I run some really tiny jigs sometimes, sizes 16, and 18 even...The little guys are able to inhale the jig pretty deep and their tiny mouths are hard to work with..I quickly got tired of hurting them, trying to get my jig back so I came up with this idea...The loop can go on your pinky so your other fingers are free..Its the perfect size to get into tiny sunfish mouths to back the hook out, even better if you fish barbless..The tube keeps the zip tie from closing too far, its just a piece cut from a ball point pen..(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)Its good for the little guys, and the faster you get the hook out, the faster you get the hook in!!<*)))>{
Ya, just ticks me off it couldn't figure out a way to build it on my own
took some coat hanger wire flattened it at one end and filed a v-grove in the flattened end with a triangle file... then epoxy it into the depth finder after you drilled it out the original one is in the picture that gave me the idea of this please enjoy.... any one else got any idea on de-hookers that can be home made if so please throw them up here....
them coat hangers make nice inline sinkers too
