Which Loon, off 69 or off 109, north of CC ? Either way, can't be of much help. I drive past the one on 69 every weekend but rarely see anyone on it.

I quit fishing there 25 yrs. ago.  But who knows maybe it's better now.  I did try it once and the results were still the same as 25 yrs. ago.  There are a lot  of other good lakes close to there.

used to be one of my favorite tiger lakes back in the day.  i remember catching some big bass and a few eater perch and craps from there. perch should be staging out in front of the bays and channels there now. creek comes in by ramp watch that late ice. been out there when water was gushing over the ice through my feet.
real fishermen don't ask "where you catch those"
