lake somerset

hi just wondering if anybody has any information about this lake i heard it is great muskie and crappie lake is this true and if so anyone catching any

I haven't had much luck there in the winter. Tried it several times and not so good. Even the fish commissioner that came out to check me said he was surprised to see me fishing it in the winter cause its not very productive.  It is a great lake in the summer.

There is a recent report on the PFC web site under the southwestern section reports that mentioned Lake Somerset.  Might want to check it out.  I'm assuming the report is from someone from the fish commission.   For me personally I found it very tough through the ice. in past years and haven't fished it recently.
