Went scouting today (Thursday) hoping to find some fishable conditions, both lakes still held 4-5" of darker ice but receding along the shoreline, Locust had 3 fishermen near the swimming area....bottom line- safe enough for those with with a bit more adventurous side to them, not for me... a few more warm days with rain Monday will doom them, willing to take a northern road trip Friday, any suggestions for safe ice would be greatly appreciated, thank you
