Priceless
Fisherman's Prayer
I pray that I may live to fish
          Until my dying day.
And when it comes to my last cast,
       I then most humbly pray:
When in the Lord's great landing net
           And peacefully asleep,
That in His mercy I be Judged
              BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.

Very cool fellas!!  My 4 year old has been asking me to take him out.  Every time I come home from fishing he saws, "ahhh, I wanted to go with you!!"  I need to find a spot near home with a short walk to catch him some pannies.  I will be taking him to the irish hills next week to fish my parents cottage but hopefully I can get him out around home too.  Hey SteveH, you wouldn't happen to be friends with skulldugary?  If so, this is his other buddy from up north!

Great job guys and very cool to help get the little guy out RL.

if u can try to get him in some shallow clear water... Even LSC, it might be a dink fest but him seeing the fish is crucial at that age.... That's what got my boy hooked when he was 4 seeing lots of fish

Yeah Carver, dinkfest would not be a problem when I am taking him out.  It is just fun to see him catching fish and having fun.  I took him out last winter and he caught some fish.  He caught a small pike, might have been a grass pike after seeing RL's photo, a small bass and some gills.  He enjoyed cleaning the hole out too!  He did great last summer fishing.  He is really getting into it so I need to keep him interested.  I have never fished LSC.  Might be something to try.  Kind of a long drive, but I might have to try it.  Any recommendations on where to go there.  I see Gino's and metropark on the forums, but I have no idea.  Thanks for the tips.
