conditions on Comet Pond?

Thinking about checking this pond out for the first time.  Its a haul for me.  I was wondering if anybody could tell me how access is right now and how the ice conditions are?

I was just on an pond  down the road today. Almost a foot of slush and then 12-18" of snow on that. Walking is AWEFUL! Nevermind pulling

Got another 8" of snow today. Have not been on the ice their for a couple of weeks. The good news is this pond is very popular and usually well packed areas for walking. But this means more holes with more slush.

I fished it Tuesday 18 to 24 inches of snow and its not packed down anywhere absolute nightmare I will not be back there unless we get some rain noone has been fishing there other than the boat ramp.
