why are fishing not biting hard lately

hey all
i have heard many stories why the fishing anit good anywhere right not but a few places and why is that? Is it b/c of the all this nice weather that i starting to get sick i want some cold weather and SNOW!!!!!!!!! well just tell me why the fish anit biting lots the past few outings ..... but keep on trying boys the big ones will come sooner than later..... or soo i hope.......... lilchief

observations from the weekend......saturday the bite in general was soft and almost all were females......sunday the bite was noticeably harder and all were males except ONE.....some food for thought.........I guess saturday was more than window shopping...Grump.....a ny ideas?

Not sure where you were fishing, but when I woke up sunday morning it was sunny and brisk outside....headed to my spot and the action was decent.   Weather shifted about an hour later, got windy and the snow started coming down....the action was slow for the rest of the day.

Thats interesting about the male/female ratio grump...I've never thought about looking for patterns like that.  Next time I'll pay more attention.

One thing I noticed around x-mas was the fish seemed to be biting in the morning one day then would slow down till the afternoon the next day when they would start biting again. Then the next morning they would be biting then die off till the next day's afternoon. I talked about with my friend and he jsut laughed at me. Maybe I was overanalyzing it.

They aren't biting at all for me since I'm not fishing    I'll be fixing that this weekend though.

well thx guys for all the reasons but i sure hope they start catching more on lake irwin cuz i wanna catch be a big boy cuz i am sicking of not catching anyone well keep on trying boys i can feel it things turing the corner..........lilchi ef
